This music was first composed for a series of 13 television films made in 1972 featuring the mime artist Ben Benison. The episodes were played and recorded by Jack Rothstein (violin), Peter Willison (cello) and Howard Blake (piano). The following year the composer adapted some of the music to form this light-hearted suite for young audiences.
